The Virginia D.A.R.E. Association, Inc. will award the "Educator of the Year (Lakey/Bentley Award) to a candidate who has been nominated by their school division, has demonstrated a commitment to the D.A.R.E. program, and has also provided a supporting role with their D.A.R.E. Officer and program.
